Description

ZinClear XP is an uncoated, non-nano zinc oxide powder developed to provide transparent, broad-spectrum UV protection without the whitening effect typical of traditional mineral sunscreens. Its mechanism relies on the intrinsic absorbance profile of zinc oxide, which covers the UVA, UVB, and UVC spectrums. This specific grade is engineered to optimize the particle size and surface area, allowing it to effectively attenuate high-energy visible light (blue light) while meeting the most stringent international requirements for broad-spectrum protection. In formulations, it acts as a reliable mineral alternative to chemical UV filters, suitable for sensitive skin and providing anti-pollution benefits by protecting against environmental contaminants.

Grades

ZinClear® is offered in four grades built around the same transparent, non-nano zinc oxide. ZinClear XP is the uncoated powder for formulators who prefer to disperse in-house; the IM 50 and XP 65 grades are ready-to-use pre-dispersions of zinc oxide in different carrier oils, each selected for a distinct sensory and functional profile.

All grades are Australian-made and preservative-free. ZinClear XP is pharmaceutical grade (Non-Nano, meets USP/EP); the IM 50 and XP 65 dispersions are cosmetic grade.
