TeraStat N is the first natural preservation system to utilize the high-performing biostatic agent Caprylyl Glyceryl Ether (CGE), an important biolipid originally found in human breast milk and marine animals. CGE is far more stable and effective than traditional natural cosmetic preservatives like Glyceryl Caprylate (GMCY), which often degrade and offer variable performance. TeraStat N combines this biostatic CGE with fungistatic Caprylhydroxamic Acid (CHA) derived from 100% natural vegetable fatty acids, and boosts their efficacy with fermented Propanediol (PDO) to reduce irritation. The result is an effective, stable, and gentle broad-spectrum microbial preservation system that reliably passes challenge tests against bacteria, yeast, and mold, even at neutral pH.
